My family and I just spent a week for Christmas at the rental home on Lake Toxaway and it couldn't have been more beautiful and relaxing!  The house is amazing, the countryside is gorgeous (we saw waterfalls), the shopping in Brevard and Cashiers is great, the Biltmore Estate is a 45min drive and well worth it, and the restaurants (Brown Trout and The Orchard) are yummy!
